Amazing Italian design and fabrication Artemide’s Edge collection was created by an Italian designer named Alessandro Mendini, in 2004. The idea behind this collection was to design an interesting-looking light, that could be attached both to walls and ceilings, and which would create an optical illusion of a cube coming out of a wall. Technical Details As far as materials go, it is made of thermoplastic material, which increases the plastic endurance against the heat of the light bulb. It is medium sized – 43x43x48,5cm, and it uses the E27 light bulbs of 23W, which are easily replaced by unscrewing the white top of the cube.
